STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WJBK) - Police say they have removed a large quantity of illegal drugs from the streets after a traffic stop in Sterling Heights.
Police have been investigating a source of "high potency marijuana" making its way into Sterling Heights from California. As part of the investigation, police pulled over a car in the area of 14 Mile Road and Van Dyke.
Police discovered about 200 lbs. of marijuana. Three people inside the car were arrested.
Search warrants were then executed at other locations, resulting in a fourth arrest and the seizure of more marijuana. That quantity was not given.
Those who have been arrested are Delan Hanna, Zayad Zaya, Eddie Matti and Anthony Santos. Matti is a Warren resident and all other suspects are residents of San Diego.
