A high end store in Taylor has become the scene of threats - or a mean-spirited prank.

Someone is leaving bullets in front of Elite Diamonds and Gems in Taylor.

"On Aug. 27 I found 11 bullets in front of my store," said Tammy Hall, owner. "On Aug. 29 I found nine, and today I found six. They are nine millimeters and have not been fired off."

It has Hall asking herself "why me"

It is just don't have any enemies," she said.

Hall says no other stores in this strip mall have been a target, so she called police hoping to get some answers.

"They say we're not assigning a detective to the case," Hall said.

FOX 2 also reached out to Taylor police and we were told this case is actively being investigated. Police say they have preserved all of the 9 millimeter bullets and are sending them to the Michigan State Crime Lab to see if they can get fingerprints.

"I'm just concerned how long it will take," she said.

But this businesswoman says she often finds herself looking over her shoulder. Even when she is at home, wondering what she might find next.

She admits she can't find peace until this case is solved.
