How would you like to tour Detroit from a bar stool? You can, with the new Handle Bar Detroit. It's a pub on wheels that will take you and your friends around the city.

It's here Detroit, you may have seen it in Grand Rapids, Traverse City and Indianapolis. Now it's taking the Motor City by storm. You climb on for your pedal party; it's a big bike for 16 called HandlebarDetroit.com.

"its amazing man," said Brian Van of Shelby Twp. "The pedal pub experience is phenomenal. A little work out, a little downtown tour."

You bring your music; they play it in the on-board sound system. You must be 21 to ride, they do a two-hour cruise anywhere you choose in downtown Detroit and then you pedal.

Handlebar Detroit will stop at your favorite pubs, and then when you're ready, you and your group pedal on.

A two hour cruise is $300 during the week that's $18 apiece for your party of 16. It's $400 on weekends.

You pedal and they give you a non-drinking driver.

"You get to see the city," said Brian Lindsay of HandlebarDetroit.com. "And it is a fun time. You get a little exercise and play your own music in your own bar."

"its great fun, you get to have fun at the Peddle Pub," said Sophia, one of the riders.

Detroit is working out the new ordinance. For now there's no alcohol on the big bike for this fall, but next spring and summer beer will be on board.

For now it's reserved for group parties taking the tour.
