Mclaren split in half in deadly Dallas crash

Two men in the sports car were killed. The woman driving the other car involved was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Two people are dead after a Dallas car crash that left a luxury sports car cut in half.

The crash happened on Monday afternoon just after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Abrams Road and Royal Lane in the Lake Highlands area.

Investigators say a McLaren and a Toyota Corolla collided.

The McLaren hit a tree, splitting it in half and killing the two men inside.

They were identified as 29-year-old Cristobal Flores Espino and 31-year-old Robert Leroy Rocha.

The woman driving the Toyota was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police have not given details of what led up to the crash.
