Detroit City Council President Mary Sheffield announces run for mayor

It wasn't the best kept secret, but tonight, Detroit City Council President Mary Sheffield formally announced her bid for mayor. Sheffield is the first to become an official candidate in what's expected to be a crowded field in 2025.
