Handlebars for the Homeless Bike Tour in Detroit

Metro Detroiters will take to the streets again tomorrow to raise awareness for the homeless with the Handlebars for the Homeless Bicycle Tour.

The fundraiser takes cyclists on a tour of the Detroit's westside neighborhoods to showcase their development and hidden treasures from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Aug. 5. Proceeds will benefit the Neighborhood Services Organization, which oversees the Homeless Recovery Services office.

Event founder David Rudolph, Tom Page, from Detroit Bikes, and Jeff Getten, general manager of The Hub of Back Alley Bikes stopped by the Fox2 News studios Saturday morning to preview the event.
