Mow Down Hunger with Gleaners and Weingartz 2018

Gleaners Community Food Bank receives support year-round from Metro Detroiters committed to fighting hunger. Today through Tuesday, Oct. 9, however, supporters can really step up their efforts with the help of Weingartz. 

The Mow Down Hunger campaign is underway, and Weingartz will match any and all donations into Gleaners 100 percent to raise more than enough money to provide more than one million meals for kids in need. 

Sam Bullock, executive chef with Gleaners, and Senior Development Director Stacy Kessel stopped by the Fox2 Kitchen Saturday morning to talk about the initiative and share some easy and healthy food ideas. Watch the video above and click here for more information.
