1 arrested after Greektown triple shooting; police name 2nd suspect

One person has been arrested after a triple shooting in Greektown, and police have released the name of another suspect they're looking for.

Chief James Craig said Tuesday they're looking for 26-year-old Delano Ward of Farmington Hills after three people were shot early Monday morning at Beaubien and Monroe. The three people were hurt and are recovering.

Craig says all four suspects live outside the city of Detroit, and that the three victims are Detroit residents.  Police are still looking for three suspects involved in the shooting incident.

"The message should be clear: we're not going to tolerate violence in the city of Detroit," Craig said. "If you come to the City of Detroit and engage in violence, we will find you." He urged Ward to turn himself in immediately.

Police arrested the first suspect involved Monday night, a 23-year-old out of Livonia. Police have not given the name of that suspect yet, or any other information about the other two suspects.

Craig said they believe the shooting happened for retaliation over a another shooting.
