3-year-old fatally shot in the head on Detroit's east side

(WJBK) - UPDATE: A 3-year-old shot shot in the head Wednesday night has died from the gunshot wound, a source has told FOX 2's Hilary Golston.
The child was shot in the head Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Detroit's east side.
The incident happened in the area near the apartments in the 11700 block of Rossiter near Morang Avenue. The location is still being confirmed by police at this time, according to Capt. Darin Szilagy.
Police believe the child was shot in the face and transported to St. John's Hospital in critical condition. There have been no arrests.
