Man killed inside Eastpointe home, family says it was argument with stepson
EASTPOINTE, Mich. (WJBK) - Police in Eastpointe say a 56-year-old man was shot multiple times inside his own home and his family is saying it started with a fight with his stepson.
According to police Eastpointe, they were called to a home on Forest near Gratiot in Eastepointe. Eastpointe police would not confirm additional details aside from the man was 56-years-old and was shot multiple times.
Family members at the scene said the man's name is Andre Williams and he had been having an ongoing feud with his stepson, who had just been released from prison.
It's not clear who fired the shots but police said they did take two people to the police station for interviews.
Police said the neighborhood is safe and said the scene is secure.
