Man stabbed at park in Utica

Utica, Mich (WJBK) - Police were called to Grant Park in Utica Saturday afternoon after a witness reported hearing a scream in her backyard. 

After investigating the witness says she saw a man holding a large knife that she watched as the suspect stabbed a man repeatedly.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Shelby Township police were able to take the suspect into custody as Utica police continues to investigate.
