Man wanted for Pontiac woman's murder arrested in Kentucky

A man on the run accused of a murder in Michigan was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Kentucky.

Kevin Wiley is accused of murdering his girlfriend, Marie Colburn.

The 34-year-old is accused of beating and strangling her to death in her Pontiac apartment last month. Her mother found her body stuffed in a closet days later. Investigators say a Michigan Department of Corrections notice had been attached to the apartment's front door in an effort to contact Wiley.

Wiley is a convicted criminal and was recently released from prison for a manslaughter conviction in 2005. Oakland County sheriff's officials say he had cut off his electronic tether in Detroit.

He now awaits extradition in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to Michigan.
