4 injured in shooting in Detroit's Greektown

Police are investigating after multiple people were shot overnight in Detroit's Greektown area.

The shooting happened around 12:50 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Monroe and Beaubien. Four people were injured, and three of those people are in critical condition in the hospital right now. The fourth victim is in stable condition.

Detroit police tell Fox 2 the group got into argument and at least two people pulled out guns. Police say one of the possible shooters is in the hospital, but will be in police custody after his hospital stay.

Investigators will review surveillance video to determine if any of the other victims are also suspects.

This is the third shooting in four days in that area. The first shooting happened Saturday night in Greektown. Two shooters in that incident were arrested.

Another incident happened early Monday morning just blocks away, in a parking lot at the corner of Larned and Brush. Three people were involved in an argument, when shots were fired.

No one was hurt in the shootings on Saturday and Monday.

DPD says it will not tolerate this rash of violence.

They plan to take a closer look at some of the more problematic establishments downtown.
