Woman found dead near Conner Creek Greenway in Detroit

(WJBK) - Detroit police working to learn the identity of a woman found lying face down on a bike path on the city's east side.

Around 8:00 am Sunday police were called to investigate a woman between the age of 50-55 lying on the ground on 8 mile and Van Dyke near the Conner Creek Greenway.

Medics arrived on scene and pronounced the woman dead, she was wearing a pink top, black jeans and black flip flops. 

The cause of death is currently unknown.
