Woman killed in Tuesday night accident on I-96 in Livonia

An accident on I-96 in Livonia claimed the life of a woman after she lost control and rolled over into the east bound lanes.

The Livonia Police Department announced on Wednesday that Klivja Caci, a 25-year-old Westland woman, was killed the crash on I-96 just west of Newburgh.

Police said Caci was trying to exit I-96 eastbound to Newburgh when she lost control, rolled several times, and then stopped in the eastbound lanes of the highway. 

Caci died from the injuries she received in the crash.

Alcohol and drus are not believed to be a factor in the accident.

I-96 was closed for a time Tuesday between I-275 and Levan.
