Semi-truck fire shuts down northbound US-23
MONROE COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) - A vehicle fire on US-23 shutdown the greater Detroit highway Friday morning.
The incident happened in Monroe County at Tecumseh Street in the northbound lanes, shutting down the entire freeway.
The blaze, which could be seen from vehicles caught in the traffic jam, showed smoke billowing out from a vehicle.
There was no estimated time the highway would reopen.
