Northville resident Francesco Viola is launching a new bourbon on Friday, April 26 at a launch part at Cantoro in Plymouth called Luca Mariano Old Americana Kentucky Straight, made in Danville, Kentucky.
He stopped by the Fox2 News studios along with Melissa Davis of Cantoro to talk about ithe drink and the launch party.

Bourbon & Strawberry Iced Tea
Ingredients
- 2 oz Old Americana Bourbon
- 2 Large fresh strawberries (sliced into quarters)
- 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz simple syrup
- Unsweetened iced tea, to top
Directions
- Add the strawberries and lemon juice into a mixing glass and gently muddle.
- Add the syrup and bourbon, fill the glass with ice, and shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and skewered blueberries and strawberries.
