Ram's Horn celebrates 50th anniversary

It was 1967 in Detroit's Cadillac Square when the Greek Brother trio of Gus, Steve and Gene Kasapis launched the first Ram's Horn Family Restaurant. The franchise has been a staple in the tri-county area ever since.

Second generation Gene Kasapis Jr. and his sister Kristy Kasapis Panos keep the family tradition alive. While the two of the three cofounders, Gus and Gene, are still active in the business (brother Steve passed away in 2012), you can find them daily at one of the restaurants or at corporate headquarters at 12 Mile and Telegraph.

Kristy joined us on The Nine with franchisee owner Dave Adams to tell us more about the restaurant and the food. You can hear from them in the video player above, and get their recipe for chicken stir fry below.

Ram's Horn has 16 locations now and about 800 employees. To find a location near you, visit www.ramshornrestaurants.com. You can also follow them on Instagram @RamsHornRestaurantOfficial.
