Experts have found that establishing good self-esteem and self confidence are important tools young people -- particularly young women -- need to develop in order to live more meaningful and more fulfilling lives.

But getting started isn't always easy.

Local therapist, guest speaker and etiquette coach Loretta A. Morman recently wrote a book called "Hello, My Name is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L." that tackles some of the challenges and misconceptions many girls of color endure while trying to find the best versions of themselves. She visited the Fox2 Studios Sunday morning and shared her message with anchor Maurielle Lue.
