(WJBK) - A classic car is receiving a classy tribute.
Darakjian Jewelers in Birmingham will be showcasing Baume & Mercier's new Capeland Shelby® Cobra timepieces, along with one of 15 factory-built tribute replicas of the famous 1963 Cobra CSX2128. Racing legend Allen Grant will also be there. He was one of the first-ever to drive the Cobra in its first races, which led to it becoming the iconic historical car that it is today.
The event is October 15 from 5-8 p.m. at the Darakjian Jewelers location in downtown Birmingham.
