Dangerously Delicious Pies' SMOG pie recipe

Heading into this Thanksgiving season, we've been talking a lot about the sweet pies in the dessert spread. But now we're switching gears to something a little more savory.

It may sound a little unpleasant, but SMOG is actually a really delicious pie from the guys at Danegrously Delicious Pies. SMOG stands for the ingredients in the pie -- steak, mushrooms, onion and gruyere cheese.

Dangerously Delicious Pies co-owners Don Duprie and Sam Wood joined us in the FOX 2 Cooking School to show us how to make the pie. You can get their recipe below.

SMOG Pie
1 onion sautéed
3 cups mushrooms sautéed
Flank steak grilled and cubed
2 cups Gruyere cheese
2 cups heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix together and put in a pie crust and bake at 350 for 40-45 mins.
