Detroit camper and RV show celebrates 50th anniversary

The annual Detroit Camper and RV Show celebrates its 50th anniversary this week with another year of special exhibits and events.

More than 275 RVs and 50 brands are on display, including motorhomes, truck campers, folding campers, travel trailers, fifth wheel travel trailers and toy haulers. Exhibits also feature RV rentals, parts and accessories, campground information and on-site RV financing.

Special guests include G.R.A.C.E., a rescue organization for greyhound dogs, A Beautiful Me, a group that holds self-esteem building workshops for women of all ages, and Michigan Crusade for Kids, a volunteer program that provides local children with life-threatening illnesses access to adventure-based special events.

The show runs from Wednesday, February 10 through Sunday, February 14. Guests can visit between 2 and 9 p.m. on weekdays, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets are $10 for ages 13 and older, $9  for ages 55 and older, and children age 12 and under can attend at no cost. Parking is not included with show admission.
