What happens if, just for one evening, we give our visual sense a rest? What if we rely only on taste, smell, touch, and sound to produce vivid imagery that might elevate an ordinary experience into the extraordinary?

On Thursday, November 10, Dining in the Dark Detroit will offer attendees the chance to do just that - to temporarily abandon their sense of sight in order to put their remaining senses to the test.

The three-hour, four-course experience will feature a delectable harvest-themed dinner presented by Chef Jeremy Kalmus at K.O. Kitchen in Hamtramck. Guests will be masked in a candlelit room, and will immerse themselves in the tastes, aromas, textures and sounds of a creative gourmet meal.

Tickets are $55 and the dinner is at K.O. Kitchen in Hamtramck at 6:30 p.m.

Reservations are required. For more information, visit www.diningdarkdetroit.com or call (248) 687-9168.
