(WJBK) - Ferndale Pride is the annual family friendly street fair that draws thousands of members of the LGBTQA community and to celebrate diversity and unity. It's this weekend on Saturday, June 4.
More than 100 vendors, as well as 8 bands, disc jockeys and other performers, will gather for the fair. In addition to the festivities on West Nine Mile Road between Woodward Avenue and Planavon Street, the street fair has expanded to include a portion of West Troy Street near Allen Street. Also, 13 related events are planned before, during and after Ferndale Pride this year.
Ferndale Pride's main event, the street fair Saturday, June 4, will run from 1 to 10 p.m. Admission is free for the fair. Vendors will line the streets selling food, beverages and goods, as well as providing information.
