Technology has allowed us to see what how dangerous it is when someone gets behind the wheel while drunk, but now Ford has found a weigh simulate what it's like to drive while on drugs.

Ford Driving Skills for Life (DSFL)  created the unique suit to imitate the effect of being under the influence of drugs. On Friday, the suit was debuted in the backlot of the FOX 2 studios.

Designed to show the dangers of driving under the influence of illegal drugs such as cannabis, cocaine and heroin, the suit has been in development for 11 years and is now ready for test use.

The drugged driving suit is similar to the drunk driving suit Ford has already developed: it simulates the effects of reduced mobility, vision and coordination with padding and ankle weights, goggles and headphones.
