(WJBK) - Everyone deserves a forever home, especially children. At any given moment in Michigan, as many as 3,000 children are up for adoption.
An upcoming event hopes to raise awareness of the dire need so many kids have. The Forever Home Run is Saturday, October 15 at Beautiful Savior Church in Bloomfield Hills.
There's a 5K run and a 1K dress-up dash for children and adults. Costumes are welcome.
The race begins at 9 a.m. and the dress-up dash starts at 10:15 a.m.
