Grace, Grit and Glory: New book details Detroit Symphony Orchestra's history

(WJBK) - A new book will be out soon that details the history of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. It's being published by the Wayne State University Press.

The book is called The Detroit Symphony Orchestera: Grace, Grit and Glory. It will be out September 6.

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is the fourth-oldest symphony orchestra in the U.S., and is among the most respected and admired. You can learn about its rich history and success over adversity through the 300 page book filled with photographs.
