Healthy Summer Workout and Cookout with Xceleration Sports

Summer cookouts are an inevitable part of life if one intends to stay social and engaged with family members before fall arrives.

But they don't have to wreck your figure or blow your diet out of the water, said long-time fitness trainer Ben Boudro. The owner of Xceleration Sports in Auburn Hills visited the Fox2 Studios Sunday morning to showcase exercises specifically designed to spike your metabolism and help your body combat cookout calories.

He calls it a pre-cookout workout and it's comprised of six steps that require short bursts of intense energy and focus.

Boudro and nutritionist Jessica Nelson also talked about how to eat healthy at home, at cookouts, or other occasions to keep those additional summer pounds off.
