Hospice of Michigan celebrates National Volunteer Week

Hospice of Michigan, is celebrating its dedicated team of 570 statewide volunteers during National Volunteer Week. The not-for-profit relies on volunteers every day across the state to deliver compassionate care to patients during what is arguably the toughest time of their lives. Farmington Hills’ own Von White is one of those volunteers with Hospice of Michigan. He’s been involved with the not-for-profit for the past 20 years, and says he originally got involved because of the great respect he has for his elders. Von also loves becoming part of a patient's extended family. National Volunteer Week is April 7-13.
