Kids First Initiative STEAM Camp July 18

The Kids First Initiative (KFI) is a progressive grassroots organization that is actively working to help break the cycle of poverty by providing young people with vital resources that will ensure them a more successful life. It's holding a STEAM Camp next week on July 18.

Richard Bell with Kids First Initiative joined us on The Nine to tell us more about the camp, and to show us some of the scientific demos the kids will take part in. You can watch in the video player above.

The camp is from 8 - 4 at Hawk Woods Nature Center in Auburn Hills. The cost is $35 and parents are welcome.

Space is limited and you must register to attend. You can get more information on line at www.kidsfirstinitiative.org
