Mack Alive Parade and Rally

Today's Mack Alive Community Parade and Rally started as a way to bring residents of Detroit's east side together to celebrate neighborhood life and to keep a focus on the future.

After more than 25 years, it's become one of the city's largest community-organized parade events and shows no signs of slowing down.

Former State Rep. and Mack Alive co-founder Alberta Tinsley Talabi dropped by the Fox2 News Studios Saturday morning to preview the event.
