Mary Jane Girls at Sista Strut, Freedom Hill Concert

(WJBK) - Join Mix 92.3 for the 20th Annual Sista Strut Breast Cancer Walk this weekend.

The walk is Saturday, August 27 at Grand Circus Park. The Sista Strut program begins at 9 a.m., and the walk kicks off at 10 a.m.

The goal of Sista Strut is to heighten awareness about the issues of breast cancer in women of color, as well as provide information on community resources. Proceeds from this year's Sista Strut will be donated to the Breast & Cervical Cancer Control Program at the Karmanos Cancer Institute.

People who are not pre-registered are still welcome to come and participate, so bring your family and friends.

The Mary Jane Girls will be at the Sista Strut. They'll also be performing at Freedom Hill next weekend on Sunday, September 4 as part of the All White Everything Concert.
