Oakland County Animal Adoption works to "Empty the Shelters"

(WJBK) - On October 22, 2016 the Oakland County Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center is teaming up with the Bissell Pet Foundation to "Empty the Shelters." On this special day the Bissell Pet Foundation is picking up the tab on all pet adoptions at participating shelters including the facility in Oakland County. The goal is to empty the shelters finding all adoptable animals new forever homes. Visit www.bissellpetfoundation.org to find a participating shelter.  The Fox 2 pet of the week is "Buddy." He is a 6 month old lab mix.
