Singer Alise King to host listening concert

(WJBK) - Singer Alise King will be hosting a listening concert to give fans and supporters a chance to hear her new, original music live before it is released. She stopped in this morning to give a preview and tips on making it big as an artist in Detroit - watch in the video player above!The concert event will feature special guest performers Angela Davis, Tem LeMay and Charlie B. Keyz. It will also include giveaways, vendors and food.

The event will take place on July 8 at The Music Hall in The Jazz Cafe, 350 Madison st. Detroit, MI 48226.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and showtime from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is $10.

Alise King's EP "In The Key of Soul" will be released August 4th.
