The Michigan Glass Project open house
The co-founder of The Michigan Glass Project, Drew Kups, joined The Nine today to talk about the group of philanthropic artists who meet annually to raise money for local charities by hosting a three-day live art festival. See some of the glass work in the video player above.
The Michigan Glass Project involves creating as much art as possible in three days and then auctioning it off in live, silent, and Instagram auctions.
The Project will be hosting an open house with pieces made at this summers event available for sale. Proceeds will go to Art Road Nonprofit, which brings art programming to Detroit schools.
