The Verdict: Charlie Langton talks GoFundMe mishap in Philly, Elon Musk sued for tweet

FOX 2's Charlie  Langton joins the morning crew for The Verdict.

He's talking about a GoFundMe incident that went awry after a homeless man helped a woman when she ran out of gas on an interstate on night. So the woman set up a GoFundMe to give back to the man, raising more than $400,000 from more than 14,000 people. Time has passed, and now the man is suing the woman and her boyfriend for allegedly mismanaging the donations. The boyfriend claimsthe homeless man spent $25,000 in less than two weeks in December on drugs, in addition to paying overdue legal bills and sending money to his family.

Charlie's also talking about a lawsuit against Elon Musk. Vernon Unsworth, the British cave diver who planned the rescue of 12 boys trapped in Thailand,  is suing Musk for reportedly calling the diver a "child rapist." Apparently Musk claims Unsworth married a child bride in Thailand.
