Tips for portioning out the right meal this Thanksgiving

As you sit down for the big meal next week, it can be an opportune time to pay attention to how fast you eat your food. 

The American Heart Association says people who eat slowly are less likely to become obese or develope metabolic syndrome, which is a cluster of heart disease, diabetes and stroke risk factors. 

Kelsey Rimmel, a registered dietitian from Providence Hospital, joined us on The Nine to tell us more, and to give us some tips about resisting the urge to overindulge over the holidays. You can hear from her in the video player above.
