Zukin's Rib Shack opening location in Livonia

(WJBK) - Zukin's in Lincoln Park has been a staple in metro Detroit for years, and the team is soon opening a new Zukin's Rib Shack in Livonia.

The restaurant's grand opening is on December 15, from 11 a.m. - close. You'll find food and drink specials all day long, as well as raffles and giveaways. The restaurant is located at 33897 Five Mile Road in Livonia, in the Civic Center Plaza.

Christopher Owens and Connie Carroll joined us in the FOX 2 Cooking School to show us a sample of their menu. They also shared their recipe for their mac 'n' cheese with us, which you can find below.

ZUKIN'S  CHEDDAR MAC N CHEESE

•          2lbs. Cavatappi Noodles
•          1 Block Velveeta Cheese
•          ½ Gallon Milk
•          2 to 3 Cups Shredded Mix Cheese
•          Special Seasoning
•          1 bottle  Scotty O'Hotty  Beer Bacon Chipotle Sauce
•          Mix all ingredients then add additional shredded cheese and paprika on top
•          Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35-45 minutes
