Detroit police say two people were found dead of apparent gunshot wounds early Sunday morning in a house that had been set on fire on Detroit's west side.
Police responded to Monterey Avenue near 14th Street just after 3 A.M. Sunday and found two unidentified people deceased inside the house.
A male victim was found deceased with a gunshot wound near the front door of the house. The second victim, a female, was found deceased with a gunshot wound in an upstairs bedroom.
Police are investigating the incident and did not provide any further information about the circumstances of the crime or the arson of the house.
They're asking that anyone with information about the crime to call Detroit police or Crime Stoppers.
