2 killed on I-75 after wrong-way driver hits vehicle head-on

DETROIT (FOX 2) - Two people were killed Friday afternoon after a driver struck another vehicle head-on while traveling the wrong way on I-75.

Police said the crash happened about 4:50 p.m. on southbound I-75 and Schaefer. Both drivers were killed instantly in the crash.

Authorities are unsure which ramp the wrong-way driver used to get on the freeway or why they were going the wrong way.
