Livonia infants found safe 'with no obvious injuries' police say
Livonia police say two missing infants taken from a hotel were safely recovered and returned to a Detroit police precinct Monday morning. No one is in custody, authorities said, but the 14-day-old twins had no obvious injuries.
LIVONIA, Mich. (FOX 2) - Two infants who were kidnapped from Livonia were found safe in Detroit.
An AMBER Alert was issued Monday morning for 2-week-old Montana Alexander Bridges and Matthew Jace Bridges. Police said after the alert that the boys had been taken from Livonia by two unknown women around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Twin babies found safe in Detroit after AMBER Alert
Two twin boys are safe after they were dropped off to Detroit police. An AMBER Alert was issued after the infants were abducted from Livonia.
The boys were turned into the Detroit Police Department's 9th Precinct around 9:30 a.m. Monday. The boys, who are OK, are now being evaluated at a hospital before they are returned to their mother. The babies had no obvious injuries.
Detroit Police Chief James White said no one is in custody.
Michigan State Police said the boys were safe. Police are expected to provide more details about the disappearance soon.
"As far as I know, my daughter and her family was at a hotel staying because their home had gotten broken into," the boys' grandmother Lolita Vann said."A lady reached out to my daughter via Facebook saying that she could help my daughter with diapers; she needed a place to stay, different types of resources because she was a new mom."

AMBER Alert issued for infant boys abducted from Livonia
An AMBER Alert is in effect for two 3-week-old boys after they were abducted in Livonia. Montana Alexander Bridges and Matthew Jace Bridges may be with two Black females who are in a black Jeep Cherokee with chrome trim around the passenger window.
Vann said that she believes the woman who reached out to help kidnapped her grandsons, based on what she has heard from the children's father.
"She came to the hotel last night to give my daughter some gift cards to buy diapers, formula, things of that nature. My daughter went downstairs to get something from the vending machine, came back and the children were gone," she said.
Livonia police said the boys' mother had left the boys with "friendly acquaintances."
