Baby left by driver at scene of crash on Detroit's east side
A wild scene on Seven Mile where the driver of car involved in a crash left a baby behind and fled from the scene.
DETROIT (FOX 2) - A baby was left behind at the scene of a crash on Detroit's east side Friday night.
The baby was taken to a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries, according to Detroit police.
The crash took place in the area of Seven Mile and Hoover at about 8:20 p.m. The driver fled the scene on foot, leaving the infant behind.
Detroit police are currently looking for the suspect. Possibly two vehicles were involved as FOX 2 cameras shot footage of a Kia sedan with front end damage and a Chrysler sedan with damage on the rear passenger door.
No further information regarding the circumstances of the crash.
