Barricaded gunman surrenders after shooting woman in Ecorse

ECORSE, Mich. (FOX 2) - A woman was hospitalized after a domestic shooting that led to a barricaded situation in Ecorse Wednesday.

The woman was transported to a hospital in serious condition. The shooting led to a standoff with police and the armed suspect inside the home, in the area of W. Outer Drive and 19th Street. 

The man inside was armed with three guns and eventually surrendered to police after about a half-hour. He was taken into custody after surrendering.
