It's no secret drunk driving arrests increase during the holiday season, but AAA and Budweiser joining forces to keep dangerous drivers off the road.

They're kicking off a great program that offers free rides home to anyone who's had too much.

Since 1998, AAA's Tow-To-Go program has helped 24,000 impaired drivers get home safe. It's starting up again this Wednesday evening and will run through Sunday morning.

Anyone who's too drunk to drive can call 855-2-TOW-2-G, and a tow truck will pick up the driver and their car, and take them home or to another safe place within 10 miles all free of charge.

AAA says it's always best to make plans ahead of time, but if you end up in a bind, tow-2-go is a great last-resort option.

In 2016, about one-in-four deadly traffic crashes in our state were alcohol related.
