Car drives off service drive, crashing onto I-96 in Detroit

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A fatal car crash on eastbound I-96 at Davidson closed part of the freeway Wednesday night.
Police said the man driving lost control on the service drive and drove through the fence down the embankment onto the freeway. A source at the scene confirmed the driver died from their injuries.
It isn't clear what caused the man to lose control, police said.

The vehicle was upside down on the freeway, and a tarp was laid out on the driver-side door as police investigators surveyed the scene.
