Classes dismissed at Hamtramck High School due to threat

Students and teachers at Hamtramck High School have been sent home for the day as police investigate a threat at the school.

Officers have been going in and out of the building Wednesday morning as part of a security sweep by the bomb squad.

We're told several houses across the street from the school were also evacuated as a precaution.

Two calls were reportedly made to police alerting them about the bomb threat.

People will be let back into their homes after the sweep is complete.
