What we know:

(FOX 2) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is investigating the fatal shooting of a local businessman who was found Monday evening.

The 66-year-old man was found with a fatal gunshot wound in his place of business in Pontiac. He was a resident of Commerce Township.

The victim, who was found by his business partner, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Timeline:

Sheriff's deputies received a 911 call on Monday evening after the victim was found at 8:17 p.m.

The discovery was made in the 1000 block of University Drive in Pontiac.

An autopsy of the victim was expected for Tuesday. 

What we don't know:

There is still no arrest in the case and the sheriff's office is looking for any information about the incident.
