Detroit drug bust leads to over a dozen arrests, $400K haul

Over a dozen people were arrested on Friday after police found guns and drugs at an Detroit home. 

What they're saying:

On Jan. 17, Detroit police said the Detroit Multijurisdictional HIDTA Task Force worked with Eastpointe Police, executing a search warrant in the 14000 block of Rossini. 

There, police say 14 people were arrested, with 12 being misdemeanors and two being felony arrests.

Police found the following items in the search:

  • 312.6 grams of cocaine
  • 54.9 grams of fentanyl
  • 27.2 grams of heroin
  • 1.7 grams of ecstasy
  • 351.1 grams of methamphetamine
  • 109.3 grams of various illicit pills
  • 142 grams of unknown powder
  • $1,391 in cash
  • 1 shotgun and 4 handguns

Officials say the total street value of the drugs that were found was $419,830.
