Police say Jonathan Walters is a 34-year-old married father of small children and a manager at Hanson's Running Shop in Royal Oak.

He's been missing since Wednesday - something his boss says is very out of character.

"I've never met anyone more reliable than Jon. So it's stunning when he wasn't at work the other day and we found out he hadn't been seen since Wednesday morning and we're incredibly concerned because it's certainly not his character," said Keith Hanson.

UPDATE: A missing Detroit man has been located and is safe, according to a post on his running shop's Facebook page.

Jon Walters was found sometime Friday evening. The message requested the family's privacy be respected going forward. Walters is a 34-year-old married father of small children and a manager at Hanson's Running Shop in Royal Oak.

A Detroit family is desperately searching for a missing man tonight who was last seen at his mother's house two days ago.

Walters worked on Tuesday and then was off on Wednesday. He may have visited his mother before he disappeared, never making it home to his wife and kids in Detroit and never making it to work on Thursday.

"If he's ever missed a day, we've known about it and it's very, very rare that he even misses a day," Hanson said.

Hanson says Walters left his cell phone at home and was last seen driving his 2014 black Ford Fusion.

If you have seen Jonathan Walters or if you have any information, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP.
