Detroit police investigating shooting that left woman dead on city's east side

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A woman is dead after being shot on the city's east side.

The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. in the 10600 block of Bonita. Officers responded after receiving reports of a woman shot.

The victim, who was in her 50s, was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
